"In der sonntäglichen Hörerwunschsendung spielen die Gastgeber Martin Blumenau und Martin Pieper auch immer gerne Raritäten, Ungewöhnliches und selten bis nie Gespieltes. Ein paar der StammwünscherInnen überraschen uns dabei immer wieder mit ihren ausgefuchsten Songvorschlägen, die uns immer wieder auf übersehene oder zu Unrecht vergessene Songs aufmerksam machen. Das Zimmerservice wäre ohne diesen Input nur halb so lustig. Im Sommer 2017 soll diesen Wünscherinnen und Wünschern der rote „Mix-Teppich“ ausgerollt werden. Die zweite Stunde der Sendung von 20 bis 21 Uhr wird in den Sommerferien ganz in die musikalischen Hände von HörerInnen gelegt, die uns aufgefallen sind. Expect the unexpected! Wer sich angesprochen fühlt und auch eine Playlist beisteuern möchte, meldet sich am besten per Mail...."
